Terms & Conditions
No Pass, No Pay
BEWARE: We have been made aware that on carrying out repair work as a result of a weonlymot failure, some garages are asking our customers if they would like them to "re-test" their vehicle for them.
This test is NOT A RETEST.
The garage would be required to carry out a FULL MOT on the vehicle. This may mean you could incur more bills as the garage could fail the car again & maybe charge you again too. Bringing the vehicle back to weonlymot means a 10-15 minute retest on your vehicle and your vehicle is only re-tested on the items it failed on.
Cars that are 10 years old or newer
Cars 10 years old and under are charged at our published rate. "No Pass – No Pay". Simple, we will test any vehicle ten years old or under and the test fee is only payable if and when the vehicle passes, subject to the following:
- Any vehicle that fails on first presentation, no fee is payable. However the vehicle MUST BE PRESENTED FOR RETEST WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS (of the initial failure) as stipulated by VOSA, to qualify for a partial retest. The test fee becoming due upon successful retest.
- In the event of a vehicle which has failed not being presented for retest (partial or full), no fee is payable.
Cars over 10 years old
Cars over ten years old are charged at our published rate which is payable immediately should the vehicle pass first time. In the event that the vehicle fails, £25.00 of the test fee is payable immediately with the balance of the fee (at our published rate) becoming due upon successful retest, subject to the following:
- Any vehicle that fails on first presentation, £25 is payable. The vehicle MUST BE PRESENTED FOR RETEST WITHIN 10 WORKING DAYS (of the
initial failure) as stipulated by VOSA, to qualify for a partial
retest. The remaining £20 test fee becoming due upon successful retest.
In the event of a vehicle which has failed not being presented for retest (partial or full), no further fee is payable.
